When someone visits www.andycoopertraining.co.uk we use third-party services such as Google Analytics and Yell for Business, to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour patterns. This is done to track things such as the number of visitors to our website to enable us to improve performance. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, nor do we allow Google or Yell to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will ask first. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.


People who email us


Any email sent to andycoopertraining@outlook.com, including any attachments, will be monitored by us for reasons of security.  Email monitoring or blocking software may also be used. Please be aware that you also have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send to us including any attachments is within the bounds of the law.

If in the unlikely event we receive a complaint from an individual or organisation we will make up a file containing the details of the complaint. This will normally include the identity of the person/company and any other individuals involved in the complaint process including witness statements.

We will only use the personal information collected to process the complaint. Any personal information contained in complaint files will be kept private and not shared with any third-parties without consent.

Similarly, where inquiries are submitted to us, we will only use the information supplied to us to deal with the inquiry and any subsequent issues.


How you can access and update your information


Andy Cooper Training will be completely open in terms of giving you access to your personal information. Individuals can find out if we hold any personal information by making a ‘subject access request’ under the General Data Protection Regulation. If we do hold information about you, we will:

  • tell you why it is being held;

  • tell you who it could be disclosed to and why

If we do hold information about you, you can ask us to correct, update, amend, or remove it by contacting us. (please note that some training records need to be kept if they are in date and you are still operating the equipment in question)


Who has access to your information?


We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.

We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Under no circumstances will we disclose personal data without consent unless it is to investigate a complaint, for example, we will need to share personal information with the organisation or individual concerned and with any relevant bodies such as the HSE. However, there are circumstances where we can pass on personal data without consent for example, to prevent and detect crime.

Data storage and transfer security

Andy Cooper Training endeavours to keep your information secure. All information is stored only on our work computers and updated to Microsoft OneDrive to protect from loss of data through malfunction. Your data will never be held anywhere else.

Due to the digital age that we live in Andy Cooper Training accepts no responsibility for loss of information through hacking or other illegal activities.
